  • I find myself missing the Great Dane since I transplanted to Milwaukee post-college. However, I've found that it doesn't top my list when I go visit Madtown. Part of the reason it doesn't make the to-do list is because their beers lie in the "OK" range. I appreciate that they brew so many beers...some are not that great. Being a beer snob, I gravitate towards other places when I am visiting. Still, their food remains delicious. I usually get the fish fry with slaw and fries with malt vinegar.
