  • I could of sworn I reviewed Casa Di Amore last year... but nothing here so I am doing a combined reviewed of two visits. First time I went last year, it was AMAZING. I would have given it 5 stars for the food, the service, it was all top notch. There were 3 of us, we were sat in a corner booth and ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share. Even had dessert. It was all delicious and fabulous. Service was on point and I enjoyed my wine to top it all off. Second visit was a few weeks ago. Unfortunately went with high expectations based on the first visit. Oddly we were sat in the bar area, which I didn't really care for. The only advantage to that was our bartender was our server and she was great. This visit had some highlights and low points. Highlight was the lobster ravioli. Was as delicious as the first time. Low point was the meatballs that came out cold - AND when we asked it to be hot they literally just NUKED the meatballs in the microwave and brought it back out. Didn't this that was this kind of restaurant. Highlight was the chicken parmesan hubby ordered. Low point was my veal parmesan which seemed a bit tough... esp conidering it was veal. Overcooked maybe? I dunno. The old school Vegas feel was still there and we mostly enjoyed our dinner, but those were some odd things like microwaved meatballs. Lastly, we made our reservation through Open Table and the restaurant told Open Table we never showed up. So I get some kind of note from Open Table in which I have to "explain" myself that we were there with the bill to show as proof if need be. Yeah... just a little irritating to a dinner that was already just about 3 stars. Hopefully they fix their little quirks.
