  • Super disappointed with the ownership changes here. A few years back they changed from Chapman to something else (can't remember exactly what it was called) and they started robo-calling me like crazy with auto-recorded messages from the new owner trying to sell me a new car. I called them multiple times to ask them to stop but it never did until, apparently, they changed owners again.... Now an AutoNation dealership, this place is impossible to work with. I called to make an appointment for a few issues with my car and the 187 year old receptionist basically forced me to make an appointment after I found out that they do not offer rental cars and I would just have to fend for myself. She kept trying to push me off the phone by saying she was going to make the appointment then transfer me to speak with the mechanic she was scheduling me with to "talk about it". I'm assuming that means to talk about how they don't help with rental cars, I tried to confirm with her what the mechanic could possibly do about that but she had already started transferring me. Of course it went to the guy's voicemail so that solved nothing. Fast forward a few days, I arrive 15 min early for my appointment, bringing my work bag so I could be prepared for the seemingly couple hours I would have to wait there. When I dropped off the car and finally got the chance to talk to a mechanic who then told me it would take the full day to look at my car, which the hard-of-hearing, senile receptionist who made the appointment said would definitely NOT be the case. Luckily I was able to get a ride home, but then couldn't get in touch with this place. Once it got to be about 4:30 I started wondering why I had not heard a single thing from them (I dropped my car off at 10am). I spent TWENTY MINUTES calling trying to get in touch with these people. When I pressed the button for the service dept, it rang extensively then went to voicemail. When I hit "2" for sales and "4" for "other inquiries" I got someone to pick up but each time as I tried to explain to them that I could not reach the service department, they immediately just transferred me to the service line where I went through the same deal -- nonstop ringing then voicemail. I get that all the other departments closed at 5pm so my calls between 4:51-4:59 were burdensome to them trying to get out of work ASAP, but come on! It was the pure definition of "that's not my job". Truly, can't be bothered to do anything that requires me to leave my desk. So FINALLY get a call back from the guy who was working on my car who asked if I needed it back tonight. Um, yeah that's kind of why I've been calling like a stalker ex-girlfriend for the past 20 minutes. Turns out he wants to keep it because they can't figure out what's wrong with the car. There was a rattling problem that I will give them the benefit of the doubt was probably complex and might not solvable in one day. He said they checked the alignment and found out my front alignment was off but didn't work on it. At all. I also had a problem with my trunk not opening fully. It's just a part replacement. They didn't do anything. I also asked them to check my tire pressure since my gauge broke. They didn't do that either. In 7 hours, they didn't even accomplish what takes me 2 minutes and costs $3 at a gas station air pump. It's probably a waste of yelp real estate at this point to say that I will not be involved with this hot mess of a place anymore. If anyone reading this has a suggestion of where else to take my Hyundai, I'm open. There's no was someone's coworker's wife's cousin could be a worse suggestion that going back to this hole.
