  • I rented a Cabana at Mandalay Bay Beach in the East Lagoon. It was about 300-350 dollars for a day. It included a cabana, two circular lazy river floats, towels, a fan, a mini fridge stocked with soft drinks and waters (filled once upon arrival and once mid-day). It also had two lounge chairs out in front, and a little outdoor couch inside as well as a table and two chairs. There was a TV, a little counter with cabinet space below to place items and a safe. You can smoke in the cabanas. When you initially go to check in, the staff seemed nice enough, however they make you wait forever (no joke.. it was a long time) before they get you to your cabana... like I'm renting it for the day and put a reservation in forever ago, this should already be ready.. but whatever. This was my first time at Mandalay Bay, so I wasn't sure what kind of cabanas they really had. The one I had reserved was spacious, but was made of a see through material, which didn't do much to block the sun. The cabana i rented at Treasure Island in the past was a thick canvas material that completely blocked the sun (it also featured misters which was nice to cool down). Room service was pricey as room service typically is, and the food was decent, pretty much what you would expect. Service was good for the most part, besides waiting forever. The wave pool is definitely the main attraction here, however the waves are TINY. This would have been an awesome wave pool if there were actual waves. All in all - its pretty, it was a fun thing to do, I'm not sure I would do it again though. There's just not enough value in it.
