The first thing that hit me when I entered the shops area was the smell of old-lady perfume. Ew. That is their air freshener smell, I guess.
I was expecting giant intricate and winding canals but instead a main drag of water and so many people hanging over the edge watching the people go by and the gondoliers sing. I didn't do the gondola ride - it's not really my thing. I didn't see any hot gondola guys when I was there either. Maybe they were on break or moved on to being show boys.
It is a bit confusing to get around in the shops. I never found Victoria Secret. It's true, the Sephora is outisde in its seperate area.
There are the usual shops, and then also that store that Michael Jackson bought tons of expensive things from. There wasn't anything really interesting in terms of stores. No Juicy store, so minus points for that. There's a Barney's there though but it was so empty and we were like the only ones in it at the time. It had nothing interesting anyway.
In the middle area by the Wolfgang Puck area were some singers in costumes and a man on stilts. He was really tall. They were singing and moving around and doing a little show.
The sky is nice, like the Forum Shops sky and Paris sky.
But I'd rather go to the Forum Shops for the store selection there.
