I will not be returning to this urgent care with the new staff.
Strike 1: I filled out several forms indicating my name "Kourtney", they copied and scanned my iD with Kourtney on it. When I turned in my paperwork they asked for my name again, of course I say Kourtney. What do they write down on the list? Kimberly. Because Kimberly was written down I waited nearly 2 hours to be seen and two people jumping in front of me.
Strike 2: Outside of the hurried nature of the loud medical assistant the doctor was inattentive. I waited for 2 hours just to be seen in 5 minutes. Diagnosed with laryngitis and prescribed a z pack. Fine.
Strike 3: The rude front desk girl who couldn't bother to stop printing papers to help me for 5 min so I could get the hell out of there. Fix your attitude and learn proper customer service.
Cherry on top: After I got home to look at my discharge papers I see that for my diagnosis they put fever. Strange, because I thought I received a clear diagnosis of LARYNGITIS and my vitals during my visit said 97 degrees. I'm sure it was sloppy work on behalf of the new staff.
tldr; I'm never coming back.
Update: After having a bad reaction to the Z-Pack i called back into Care Now to speak with Dr.Johnston he was sympathetic and is changing my prescription. I will charge my initial interaction with him to his mind and not his heart (updating to 3 stars instead of 1). HOWEVER, I'm still not a fan of the staff I HIGHLY recommend customer service training.
