Let me start by saying that I wanted to give zero stars but that is not an option. We arrived mid-afternoon and were told our rooms were on the concierge floor. Our initial thought was wonderful...we can take advantage of the offerings in the concierge lounge. Unfortunately, the desk did not tell us that the concierge lounge was not open on weekends.
Upon getting off the elevator on our floor we encounteedr the "hallway" sauna. This hotel does not provide AC to the hallways. The long hallway to our rooms was over 90 degrees and stuffy.
The room smelled moldy and the AC unit was struggling to keep the room cool. The room was dated/worn. The bed was average quality and the bathroom was very small. The TV in the room did not work.
We ate in the onsite restaurant....basic food prepared poorly. The dinner service was slow because there appeared to only be one waiter working.
All in all, a real disappointment from Marriott at this location. There are many better choices near the Pittsburgh airport.
