| - I drive a 2012 Ford Fiesta, and both the door locks and transmission were recalled in the past year. I had the locks replaced in all four doors in the end of August. My car had just been in for an oil change in early July. I paid for The Works, which SHOULD have included a detailed inspection, tire rotation, and a top-off of all fluids in addition to the oil change. Just a week after my original review, I had to fill my windshield wiper fluid as it was bone dry, so CLEARLY the fluids hadn't been filled.
I took my car in for a THIRD time in 2 months 3 weeks after the locks were replaced for them to reprogram my transmission. We got a call the day it was done, and they told us that the Serpentine belt was significantly degraded and had to be replaced ASAP. It was not covered under the extended warranty, so it would cost $200+. I was FURIOUS that my car had been in Gaudin Ford THREE times in 2 months, one of which was for a detailed inspection. They decided to tell me two months later that an important belt needed to be replaced. Either they didn't do their job any of the times my car had been in the shop recently, or they lied about the belt being "significantly degraded." NO belt would go from fine to critical in just two months. Regardless, I'm out $200+ and even more furious with Gaudin Ford.
