This place is now known as The Block at Northway. A rebranding that is way overdue for this once dead mall. This place really took a hit when certain stores closed and others moved onto greener pastures. Or maybe this was a blessing in disguise.
Currently this place looks more like a disaster area than a shopping are. There are not many stores opened currently at this location, but I suspect that once they are done doing whatever they need to here, that this will be just as hard a place to shop as anywhere else.
Very few stores remain of what was left from the "mall." Marshalls is still in the upper area, Petsmart relocated to a new outparcel building; Ulta, Aldi and America's Best still remain in their buildings. Newer stores like Nordstrom Rack (open), The Container Store (soon to open), and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th (soon to open) now fill storefronts that have long since been empty. From what it looks like, most stores will have entrances from outside, but I am not completely sure on that. It's odd actually, they still have the escalators set up and running and they really just connect the bottom door to the top door.
I am sure once this place is completely redone that it will be a nice area to shop in. But until then, it is quite a mess.
