Generally speaking, you cannot go wrong with Chatime considering the franchise is pretty much standardized across the board. However, on my visit tonight I found myself standing in the same position in line for a solid twenty minutes without moving an inch. When I came in, I was third in line and there was quite the 'dragon' forming by the time I left with patrons practically squishing out the door. The location was clearly understaffed having only one barista procuring drinks while one works the cashier and the last employee preparing the product materials in the back. Perhaps it's my perception of the establishment, but generally speaking this has never been a problem in other locations I've been to despite full-house conditions. I did notice the staff sharing some friendly banter between each other every so often while making drinks, but with a growing line there is certainly room for growth in terms of prioritizing, delegating and ensuring that drinks are being pushed within a reasonable timeframe. Waiting 30 minutes for a single drink is definitely not okay; I will definitely opt for another franchise when I visit this plaza in the future.
