  • I dig this place, I've been bringing all my pants, shorts, dresses etc here for hemming for the past 3 years. (At 5'2 I have to get nearly everything hemmed *sigh*) They even hemmed my expensive satin competition boxing shorts just how I wanted them, keeping the original colours (white trimmed with black hemmed bottom) which was a bit of an advanced sewing task. And only charged me $12. They do quick turnaround time on the hemming too, usually ready for pick up within 2 business days, but will do faster if you beg. I've never had any problems with language barrier, the husband & wife team manning the store always seem to know what I'm talking about. Bonus - they open at 7am, so you can stop by early in the morning en route to work to drop off items.
