  • There are so many restaurants in Scottsdale it's sometimes very hard to return to the same place twice! But I think I have a new favorite!!!! The food at China Gate is remarkable!!! Crisp, Hot, Fresh Tasty, and Satisfying. I especially love the shrimp dishes, and tonight's Lo Mein was fantastic. The house special fried rice was outstanding. I loved that hot tea was ready, served hot and just 50 cents with a refill. Service the last few times was humble, congenial, and efficient. I must say that I have eaten at the New China Gate a half dozen times but it's been years and now twice in a month. I am already craving the food again. Unless you are in Southern Mesa, great Chinese food is hard to come by, but there you have it. Give them a try because I know the quality is outstanding!!!!!
