DELICIOUS!!!
Had an early dinner here about two weeks ago. To say that the food and the service here were outstanding is a gross understatement. We started with the housemade baguette and the crispy fingerling potatoes. The baguette was crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. We learned that the bread is baked in the restaurant's wood fired brick oven every night - and we took a loaf home (ask your server!). The crispy fingerling potatoes were perhaps THE BEST POTATOES I have ever eaten. Fried to a crispy outside, with a fluffy, tender inside, the potatoes were dusted with just a hint of herbs and sea salt. The "appetizer" was perhaps as much as a pound of potatoes. We ate so many we almost didn't have room for dinner!
For our entress, we had Wood Fired Stuffed Peppers, Moroccan Meatballs and a meat flatbread. All entrees were hot, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The Stuffed Peppers and Moroccan Meatballs were chock full of exotic flavors and the flatbread had an incredible crisp but puffy crust.
For desert, we had chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding. My wife and daughter thought the chocolate cake may have been the best they've ever had. We all thought that the sticky toffee pudding was so sweet and caramelly that it should probably be illegal :-)
The wine and beer list is small, but had excellent choices. The cost for dinner and drinks for three of us was less than $100. We will most definitely be back!
