| - I went into Alfred Angelo to start the process of looking at wedding dresses. Shelley was absolutely fantastic to work with the entire time I was in the store. She said down with me at the beginning of my appointment to get an idea of what I was looking for in a wedding dress. I informed her that I was going to get married in just a few months and needed something rather quickly, though I was going to remain open-minded with her on trying on dresses. She ensured to pick dress options that were going to meet my shorten deadline and that matched the style dress I was looking for. Right away, she got me into appropriate attire for trying on the dresses and started trying them on. Shelley made sure to listen to what I was saying about each dress as I was trying them on - what I liked about it and what I wasn't fond of. As we were going along, I was stating what I was looking for in the accessories department to work with the dresses. She was pulling those items so that I could see how the dress looked with the accessories. We finally came across a dress that I was just absolutely in love with. She let me stay in the dress to get an idea as to what it would feel like wearing this dress for an extended period of time on my wedding day. In her letting me stay in the dress, she actually heard us discussing the maid of honor dress and she started pulling two dresses that my sister was interested in trying. She had no problem getting my sister into the dresses and allowing her to determine what she felt most comfortable in. She also went with me on my ideas on the accessories for the maid of honor dress so that my sister would coordinate with me based on this idea that I had in my head. My mom, my mom's longtime best friend, my sister and I were bouncing ideas and options around between all of us, while Shelley carefully listened, to best determine what worked the best with the accessories for our dresses so that I could get the most out of my idea. Shelley kept on working with us, pulling out different colored sashes, showing us different options for widths in the sashes, grabbing a pair of heels for me to try on with the dress to get a feel for it finally wearing shoes, and so much more. At this point, I was beyond sold on my wedding dress and my sister on her maid of honor dress. My only problem was that this was the first time I had stepped into a store to try on wedding dresses and I had another appointment after this one with Alfred Angelo. I was a little nervous about committing myself just yet on this dress. However, Shelley completely understood and more than happily took down all of our measurement information, the dresses we wanted, the accessories we would be getting along with it, and our personal information so that it could be entered into the computer system for future reference. Surprisingly enough, I went to the second appointment and had the absolute worst experience I could have expected when it came to wedding dress shopping. I walked out the second appointment with my mind already made up to go back to Alfred Angelo to purchase everything that we needed for my wedding day. My party and I actually immediately went back to Alfred Angelo and purchased everything we needed right on the spot. It was the best experience I could have hoped for in trying on dresses and I am most definitely going to recommend this store and Shelley specifically to anyone else about to start of the process of wedding dress shopping.
