| - This has been my main gym for several years now because of LOCATION and an airy indoor pool.
Cleanliness is a real issue. My wife says the women's locker room isn't a problem, but the men's IS. Garbage often on the tile floors which often seem dirty. Garbage left in lockers. Today, at 4:30 PM on a Sunday, 4 out of 4 soap containers empty, and 3 of 4 towel dispensers the same.
The equipment is increasingly poorly maintained. Some pieces have remained out of service for months continuously. Others can't be used because the tethers for the adjustment pieces aren't maintained, and thus the adjustment pieces are absent.
The free weights are often not replaced where they belong. Instead, patrons take them all over the gym and then just leave them. It's a very large gym, and sometimes the ones you want simply can't be found.
The staff is friendly but LAZY. There 's often no shortage of staff, but it appears to me all they want to do is sell. If they'd visit with each other less and actually MAINTAIN the place in an organized, clean fashion we'd be miles ahead.
There's NO suggestion box, and the few times I've tried to call things to the staff's attention, I feel I might as well be addressing my cat. Really a shame to see what's happened to this facility which is only a few years old. I'm going to start going to the one up on Northern when I don't swim. It is a noticeable improvement.
