| - Our family of 5 went for a special occasion on a Tuesday night after deciding we were in the mood for thai food and reading several reviews off yelp.
I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in other reviews as I was that night.
Entering, this place was empty...like uncomfortable empty. There was another couple with a child, and even though the atmosphere was great (the ambiance earned them the two stars!) it was just too empty for 9pm at night.
We order several dishes including papaya salad, pad see eu, pineapple curry, masaman curry, and pineapple rice (which was actually never brought out to us, but after tasting some of the other stuff, we were pretty ecstatic that we wouldn't have to waste more of our money). We also ordered thai tea (one with boba) - which was decent and we weren't charged for refills (which is a plus compared to other places). However, the boba was rock hard -- this might be because it was late at night and they just wanted to get rid of leftovers, but that's not OK at all.
Out of all the dishes, I ONLY enjoyed the papaya salad and the pad see eu. I felt as if the pineapple curry and the masaman curry were the EXACT same - the only difference was that the pineapple curry had pineapple. The curry was also too watered down.
All in all, the atmosphere is what's given them my two stars. Service was also on par, no one was rude.
However, I noticed that a tip was added on to my initial check. So beware of that.
I'll be trying out plenty of other thai places before I give this place a second chance.
