These other reviewers are correct. My story also involves their "Gold Warranty" which I purchased thinking it covered full parts and labor in the event of a part failure (I bought a complete engine from them for $1500). Right before the warranty was about to expire the engine failed and my mechanic told me it would have to be replaced again (in an old car not worth spending more money on). After I realized it was still under warranty I felt a bit better, but then I realized that the warranty did in fact NOT cover labor and that even if it had, it would only cover up to $50/hour for labor which is approximately half the going labor rate for mechanics. So even if I had bought the right "full parts and labor" warranty, it still would not have covered more than half the labor cost, which also, by the way, is calculated according to a chart that all shops use and not by how much time is actually spent on the job.
These guys are worse than used car salesmen. There's a lot of money in "green" parts (used parts). My advice is to stay as far away from them as possible and tell your friends to do the same.
