| - I called Hays Roofing to replace my roof because I had a leak and the roof was in pretty bad shape. The leak unfortunately happened during monsoon season and I wanted the roof fixed quickly. The agreement was to replace the roof completely in four days and 8 days later, after they said they were done, there happened to be a rain storm. All of a sudden, water starts POURING into my kitchen from a new leak that was no where near my original leak. This happened on a Sunday so my boyfriend and I had to go to Home Depot, buy patching supplies and get on my roof to try and fix the leak the best that we could since it was still raining.
After telling this to Jarrod, him and the owner were very apologetic but I was shocked that it even occurred. They had to rip out my drywall and it caused 10x more damage then the original leak did. After replacing my roof, fixing their mistakes, ripping out drywall, replacing drywall, and painting it, the entire job took about 3 weeks. Then, the owner mentioned that he was going to give me a discount for my trouble, and it only turned out to be a 5% discount. It was nice to get a discount, but when you're paying $15K+ for a roof, 5% is kind of a slap in the face. Now that the job is finished, I'm just hoping that more leaks won't occur. They are very nice, but please make sure that you go over the work with them and be diligent.
