  • I have always avoided jumping on the Lux bandwagon. I used Lux the way I used most coffee shops, as a place to study or work-- chores that I don't particularly cherish. Tonight was the first night that I went to Lux with the purpose of relaxing with friends. I can't tell you what a completely different experience this was! Blaise, the bartender, blew me away with his delicious and hand-crafted drinks. One drink literally had a arrow, craftily cut from the rind of an orange; and all were delicious. I can't tell you how relaxed I was sitting at the bar (where they serve drinks and food). It was a 180 from my experiences using Lux to engage in less fun activities! That's why I'm giving Lux five stars--- I have always loved their coffees, teas, baked goods, salads and entrees, but I was stressed for my own reasons. Now I see the versatility of Lux-- that it can be a place to get work done, relax and have a drink with friends, meet new people, or celebrate! It's truly the venue for any occasion! -- The staff is also incredible!
