  • We did "The Residents" as a night out last weekend and had a fantastic time. The room was much more immersive and story-focused than similar escape rooms I've tried here in Charlotte. In addition, several unexpected special effects made a great impact and produced some very high-pitched squeaks from several of the more. . . beardy . . . members of our troop. This is very much worth your time and money. If you're looking for a date night that doesn't consist of staring at a screen for a couple of hours, this is the place to go. I can't wait to go back again. The "Shipwrecked" room looks to be a blast, but I'm really itching to try out the still-under-construction "Deep Space" room.
