| - TERRIBLE PLACE. The OWNER literally raised her fists to try and fight me one day after an argument.
I have went to this place a few times, and every time they would con me into a package (which I truly believed never expired) and it seemed every time I went in, my packages were expired. I would seriously go in two months after I purchased a package, and it would be expired (even if I hadn't used them?!). So they would explain the whole "after a certain amount of days it expires, bla bla". Okay cool, that's fine.
I go in there three weeks ago one last time to use my last tan and I ask for goggles. Mind you they Spanish girl working at night time has ALWAYS given me goggles, no problem. She also has never mentioned that I needed to purchase them, or trust me, I would, I've spent tons of money at this place. So I go in one afternoon, looking to use my last tanning session.
I walk in and there is a lady in the lobby eating a Quizno's sandwich whom I pay ZERO attention to because I'm thinking she's a customer. So I go to the front, and before I go into the tanning bed I ask the front desk girl for goggles. Immediately, the person sitting in the lobby eating a sandwich says "THEY'RE $8.99" .....Okay, well this last tanning session with you all is only valued at $10, so I'm not about to pay 9 dollars for glasses when you've never charged me before. So again, the lady sitting in the lobby eating a sandwich (who I know identify as an employee of the salon) tells me "Well they shouldn't be giving them to you for free." So I let her know that I no longer will use her business, that they are a rip off anyways, I've spent so much money with them and so now I want a lousy $10 refund, because yup, I never want to come to this place again, the service is terrible. The lady tells me "There's no refunds (which I already knew), you can tan this one last time and you are no longer welcome back, we don't need your business."
Cool with me. So again, I need goggles to tan today and I'm not going to pay $9 for them. So as I'm walking out she tells, "Or you can purchase disposable ones for 50 cents." Well WTF lady, why wouldn't you just tell me that to begin me? So I go outside to get my lousy 50 cents out of my car..... Then I realize how bad this whole situation looked, so I walked straight inside and told the lady who was STILL in the lobby, sitting, eating a sandwich, "If you want to conduct business with me and talk to me as a customer, you can at the very least come behind the counter and talk to me. Its crazy that you're sitting here stuffing a sandwich in front of me, while trying to talk to me as an employee of this company."
Apparently she didn't like that, and that Quizno's sandwich must've meant more to her than a repeat customer, because she tells me "I am the owner of the salon and I'll do whatever I want, this is my salon" bla bla bla bla bla. So I begin to tell her, "Look, in my opinion" and she interrupted and said She didn't ask for my opinion..........not only am I completely baffled that this lady, who happens to be the owner, is acting like this, but she's also acting like this in front of a new hire who she's "training".
At that point I definitely said, "F*ck it." there's no way I even wanted to tan and there's no way that I ever even wanted to conduct business with this lady. So I proceeded to let her know how much of a b*tch she was, started walking out and as she's saying whatever to me, I'm pretty sure I said f*ck you.
She then tries to SWING at me and raises her fists to me. I really had to think to myself, either I'm going to hurt this lady for trying to hit me, or I can be a lady and hop on my flight to Canada tonight as planned and enjoy my fabulous life. So I did just that. I walked away shaking because I literally thought I could tear this lady's head off, and I called the cops. When they got there we had witnesses and then she trespassed me and gave me my refund.
I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I AM A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL MYSELF AND I'VE HAD CUSTOMERS CALL ME A B*TCH, A C*NT, EVERY POSSIBLE WORD AND I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER TRY TO RAISE MY FISTS TO THEM, LET ALONE TRY TO HIT THEM. I JUST WOULD NEVER DO THAT. ESPECIALLY NOT AS A BUSINESS OWNER. This lady can't control her temper and should not be interacting with people or customers and I wouldn't let me, or anyone that I know pay a DIME for her services.
GO TO PACIFIC SUN next to LVAC on Rainbow and Vegas. They are awesome. I've been going to them for three years and the only reason why I went to this place was because I had moved at one point and thought it would be more convenient for me to go to this place, but I would definitely rather go the extra couple of miles to go to PACIFIC SUN because they are friendly, know their shit, and would never ever conduct business like that.
