Toronto's answer to New York's Time Square, Yonge-Dundas Square is the meeting point for Toronto shoppers who come to the Eaton Centre Mall across the street and the public performance space that is in between the mall and the CityTV studios. Summers are usually packed with locals and tourists, and on occasion the hopping fountains shoot gusts of water that always attracts the attention of kids and tourists alike. Only nuisance here is traffic as crossing the street can be challenging, and the religious nuts trying to peddle their religion in front of the Sears (soon to be Nordstroms) department store entrance. Nice stop for tourists, but not a must see.
