  • WOW, I have over 25+ years of hospitality and customer service experience. I have lived and traveled all over North America. I have always had a gym membership so I am very educated to the industry. I have been a member to the Golds Gym downtown Phoenix for over 18 months, and have always had a personal trainer there as well. My personal trainer is amazing! He is the sole reason I joined Gold's Gym downtown Phoenix. Today August the 18th 2014 I have just had the most horrible horrible customer service experience I think I have ever ever seen in my life at the Golds Gym downtown Phoenix. The little girl at the front desk was the most rude individual I have ever seen in a customer service role in my 25 years of hospitality customer service. In my world the hotel industry if we treated our guests in any such manner we would lock our doors and call it quits!!!! I asked for a phone number and I was told I should google it if I wanted to phone number. That is just a little piece of what I experienced tonight at the Golds Gym downtown Phoenix. I have heard rumor that they were struggling from a management perspective, well with a customer service philosophy like that I can see why they are struggling. Again that is only a small piece of what I experienced this evening from a customer service perspective at the Golds Gym downtown Phoenix by the way I'm going to cancel my personal training and my membership because you do not deserve my money and I will make sure and tell all of my friends coworkers and acquaintances because word of mouth is powerful and you don't treat customers that way!
