Cheap and good! Maxim is not the cleanest looking restaurant I've ever been to but the food is so fantastic, and economical, the menu so extensive, that I can't help but overlook that. Every time we eat there we ask ourselves why we don't eat there more often! The pho and other soups are so good that I smile just thinking about them. For take out orders they keep the main ingredients separate from the broth - that's really nice. Their seafood is terrific and I love their crispy noodle dishes as well. They even make great "Americanized" Chinese food. I could eat their rice paper shrimp spring rolls every day - dip them in the peanut sauce - you won't regret it!
