I was a patron of the car wash when it was Danny's. The work wasn't great though it was a decent car wash. I'd used them 30-40 times. I am a very good tipper, FYI.
However, since the new ownership, quality has been increasingly poor. I've also noticed far fewer employees and the process appears more chaotic.
The final straw was a week ago when I brought my vehicle in for a wash, it was only *slightly * dusty - Easy job. The car came out FAR WORSE than when I'd brought it in:
- Burned in water spots (forgot to dry?)
- Excessive dressing on the tires, though only certain areas of the tires. One tire missed completely.
- Smudges on the inside of the windshiepd though windows were spotless when I arrived.
- Un-identified greasy substance on one of the rims
I drove home $15 poorer looking at water spots accented by excess tire grease flung on to my fenders, then spent an hour cleaning my car - again - that was only slightly dusty when I brought it to Jackson's.
** I do not place ANY fault on the employees**. There were only 3 visible to me working like dogs in the finish area facilitating 20+ cars continuously in 100+ heat. IMO, the problem is clearly with management or higher. If anyone, those in leadership need to take accountability.
Although Jackson's is 5 minutes from my house, I won't take my car back there again until there's new ownership (not just management)
(I wish there was a "no star" or "negative star" rating on Yelp)
