I flew to Toronto last week to look for wedding dresses with my Mom. Living in San Francisco has made it tough for planning our Montreal wedding but luckily I have my Mom to help. I had tried on dresses at two San Francisco bridal places prior to coming into Becker's, so I had a small idea of what I wanted.
We walked in at around 11am and the showroom was empty. We started walking around to look at dresses and tried making noise to get someone's attention. Two minutes later someone finally came out to help us. We were told to look around and pull dresses that we liked and that the consultant would help us after.
There are two rooms filled with dresses- I surprisingly only found 3 to try on that I liked. I tried to get some guidance from the staff at Becker's but it seemed like you need to know what you want before you shop there.
Yianni (my consultant) was REALLY nice and flipped around our whole experience at Becker's. She was helpful with styles and gave her honest opinion. My Mom and I left the shop with 1 dress on the 'maybe' list. Turns out, I found my dream dress down the road but would totally suggest Becker's if you are a bride that knows exactly what she wants.
