  • Called United Van Rentals when I arrived at the Las Vegas airport. I spoke with Tony who verified my reservation and said to call back when I got outside to a pick up area. I called back within 10 minutes and Tony came to pick me up. That was all fine. The exterior of the van was in good condition, the interior however was about as clean as a Cheap Motel room. It had tissue and papers stuck in the seats and not the cleanest smelling. They should of at least taken it through a full service car wash before renting it to me. Anyway it got us to our destinations OK. Tony is not the friendliest guy around he drilled me about not having my insurance card on me and whined about having to wait ten minutes till my insurance company faxed it to me. He is a jerk putting it nicely. Oh and then guess what, he was not available to shuttle me back to the airport after dropping off the van in the motel parking lot and putting the key in the drop box. No return phone call even. I spoke with a lady at the front desk she said she wasn't surprised and this happens quite regularly. The motel made sure to tell me they were not affiliated with United Van Rentals and called me a cab and I made it to the airport which cost me another $20 bucks. Thanks for nothing united van rentals. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS at least at the Vegas location!!
