When it comes to nail shops it's not all about the glitter and prettiness. One thing I always look at is sanitation. I have asked and observed what the sanitation protocol is and by the looks of it they seem to do an average job. The restroom seems a bit run down and on several occasions I've seen cleaning supplies, a mop and mop bucket out on display. To me this seems a bit tacky. However, I can appreciate the obvious cleaning that takes place.
My go to person is Hye. I'm that customer that likes my nails to be super short and square. He's remembers that and always delivers. He's not very sociable but I enjoy that. He's genuine and speaks with purpose, no small talk to avoid silence. In fact, he's great about communicating prices beforehand and doesn't put his two cents in about, "what he thinks is pretty" as others have.
I recommend Hye, he's the only male who works at this location and is a nice gentleman who listens to his customers. I've been going to Hye for about 5 months now and I developed all the confidence in his work and professionalism.
