| - Brix Wine
I suggest a name change: "Wine Heaven", "Awesome Wines", "Best wines". Pick one. Wifey spied this as we drove by. Stumbled upon a jewel in the desert. If you're new to wine, it's important that you know that there are different "levels" of wine. Brix has everything from very good wine to true "cult" wines for which you must be on an allocation list or a many-year waiting list. We were truly amazed to see such a selection under one roof. From Walla Walla, we found Cayuse and Leonetti Cellar. Damn! From Sonoma, we found Kamen Estate Wines ("Wax on, wax off"). From Paso Robles, we stumbled upon Turley. These are truly world-class wines.
Okay, so they have great wines. What about the facility, staff, and prices? With selection like this one might expect a stodgy old guy with an attitude. Instead, wifey and I met a super-approachable, down-to-earth dude who just happens to know to acquire some badass wines. We sat and enjoyed a nice pour of red as we walked around drooling at some dream wines. This place is laid back, clean, and easy to navigate. Prices are great.
Awesome!
