rev:text	oh my oh my. i think i've died and gone to donut heaven. i was really in search for a maple bacon donut and didnt particularly want to try tim horton's since its a chain. glad i made that choice. ordered a box of 4 LARGE donuts. they have small (about half the size) if you want to try more flavors and not feel as guilty. i got maple bacon, hollywood bollywood, peanut butter, and lemon curd. each one just kept getting better than the one before. the maple bacon was good. who doesnt love anything with BACON!? then i had hollywood bollywood next. its topped with popcorn and sweet potato crisps covered in indian spices. sounded weird so i had to try it, plus it was the flavor of the month. i loved it. the popcorn and sweet potato added texture to the creamy donuts. and the indian spices were not overpowering at all. next up, peanut butter. first off the donut itself is covered in chocolate. YUM, right? and then there is a glob of this amazing smooth peanut butter concoction that was just divine. all together, it was like peanut butter and chocolate were dancing in my mouth. last but not least, the guy recommended lemon curd to me. BOY AM I GLAD HE DID. this was BY FAR the BEST donut of the bunch. the dough had a slight tartness to it from i believe some lemon juice and zest. i was loudly "mmmm" with each bite i took. and the lemon curd in the middle of the donut was so creamy, light, and lemony that it made me feel weak in the knees. one of those foods that when you bite into it you just have to close your eyes. seriously.... that good. they did have gluten free donuts, but i have no idea how they taste. but i've never seen that so thought it was worth mentioning.
