  • Good food for lunch during the week. Thaiger doesn't have authentic-tasting Thai (or is that it doesn't taste like Americanized Thai food places in other cities? This is getting confusing). That said, it has a nice, short, and consistent lunch menu. The peanut chicken is great, as is the pad thai (doesn't taste like normal pad thai, but it's good: chicken, tofu, and shrimp, with lots of peanuts). But I think a different chef comes in for dinner and weekends, because the dishes are remarkably different. I don't understand what's going on. In other words, come for lunch.
