  • Disclaimer: I LOVE THE MUSEUM! So why the three starts and not five? Well for starters even though I love the museum it is not really because of the museum itself, it has to do more with my annual trip to the museum that I always look forward too but always left disappointed. The year that the terra cotta warriors had an exhibit I was extremely excited. But this small exhibit was a complete disappointment. Although I do find history very interesting, I was thoroughly disappointed by the display that they had. I think there were about maximum of 10-15 terra cotta warriors there. I also went to the museum this year to see the Mesopotamian exhibit with my boyfriend but it was almost the same experience I had with the terra cottas. This is a theme that I keep encountering with this place and although I always end up disappointed I am always drawn back. I do recommended it because museums do enlighten others who are ignorant or don't have a background on certain subjects. However I am a history student and know enough to be unimpressed by some of the things the museum offers. But hey! Dinosaurs are always pretty cool to look at. So if you have kids or you're a nerd like me go for it. (Also they have days where you get discounts and I think Friday after 4 is free for all!) -CL
