| - Not a fan of this place, mostly because it is too costly and if you're not satisfied with the job that they did they charge you extra for any additional "fixing" that they have to do. I had a dress hemmed and had it taken in from 4 straps that it had on the back. For that they charged $70. When I picked it up I noticed that even though we had the 4 straps in the back hemmed, the dress was still a little loose, they charged me $10 extra to take it in a little on the elastic band, and that's only because I complained that I shouldn't have to pay for it, who knows how much they would have charged me if I didn't complain. When I picked it up for the second time, went home and tried it on and walked on it a little bit, I still thought the dress was too long and that it probably needed another 1/2 in. taken in. I called and asked if they would charge extra if I was not happy with the length of the dress, they said that yes it would be an extra cost. Needless to say, I was not going to pay an additional $35, which would put me at $115 in getting the dress altered, almost as much as I paid for it. I'm definitely not going to this place again. The alterations I needed to have done are not rocket science and are pretty much standard alterations, something that any good seamstress can do, so next time I will not go straight to the most expensive place I find thinking that they'll do a good job not only on the work requested but also with customer satisfaction. Another negative is that they only take cash or checks, no credit cards. Come on! If you charge that much money you should at least use some of that money to buy a credit card machine and pay monthly credit card fees. Not going there again.
