  • Everybody has their own experiences. This is just mine. I've taken a month or so to simmer since my sons last day. From verbal abuse, to sending my then 4yr old home in 18month old clothes. No communication during injuries. Special needs child was let in class to hit at will ,with little to no consequence , but staff had many excuses. I'll explain. In the beginning I would be annoyed walking in the building by hearing gossip and stories that don't belong at a preschool. I would walk down the hall and hear "teachers" screaming a kids in the toddler room. At the end I finally confronted a "teacher" and Anita schrugged it off. Walking down the hall I hear my sons name being yelled. I walk into the room . Ms Amanda was standing over him, in the dark, kids laying on the floor, "DID U MAKE THIS MESS? CLEAN IT UP!!!" He dropped his food while trying to hurdle kids in the dark. She seemed real tough till she realized that dad just walked in. She hauled ass to the closet. She openly admitted to verbally abusing my child and guess what......a little re-training is all that was warranted. We had problems with a child punching my son in the face. We're told by "Lisa" that he has problems and that she can't do anything about it because of the funding they receive. Score another one for the bully! My son got his clothes wet and I picked him up in 18month old clothes...how the hell did this happen? We donate all of his old clothes to sunrise AND we brought new clothes as back ups. Keep in mind most "teachers" have kids that go there. I read between the lines. Any situation was meet with excuses for the staff. All the from the top of the totem pole. The last straw came when I went to p/u my kiddo and he was in timeout outside. When I asked "RAYANNE" what happened. I was told he was in timeout for tattling. Huh? A boy punched him and when he told the teacher that is there to protect him....bully wins again. The boy ran up to me smiling and said "yup, I punched him hard, lol" When I told rayanne I need to speak with Anita, she told me. "Go tattle just like your kid, that's where he gets it from" I was shocked that such an ignorant, pos would say that to me. When confronted by Anita. She said, "that's exactly what I said, that's what you are, a tattle just like him" . Anita told me that she prolly meant to say something else, her English is bad. Wtf? Good luck parents, the minute u think that none of this will happen to your kid....probably already has..
