My wife and I frequent True Food Kitchen. We are there so often in fact that several waiters and waitresses recognize us and say hello when we stop in. We have been eating here since before we moved to Arizona. In fact, my wife and I ate lunch at True Food Kitchen the day before I proposed to her during a short conference here.
Fast forward to today and now we live in the area. We were only too happy to make this our regular go-to restaurant. It's hard to feel guilty about how much you eat or how delicious it is when you know that it's so healthy for you.
The pizza here is exceptionally good if you are into thinner crust and stronger flavors. My favorite entree is definitely the poke bowl. I never cared much for raw fish, but I can't get enough of the poke bowl. Also, the bourbon cocktail they make is consistently excellent.
For appetizers, we always get the lettuce wraps and sometimes get the kale guacamole as well. I highly recommend both. Every soup is good, it doesn't matter much which soup it is that day, but the chicken noodle soup was the best I've ever had. Unfortunately I've only ever seen it on the menu once!
The ambiance is nice, it is very easy to have conversations here. They often keep the doors open and allow the breeze to pass through, making it seem a bit like you are outdoors even when you aren't. With the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the entire restaurant feels open and spacious.
