  • SPS is a quirky salon that includes a cafe and shop at the front that includes clothes and little knick knacks. The actual salon is a big space with tons of stylist stations. I only saw the actual salon when I got shampoo'd because my stylist, DENISE LE, is located in a tiny little room right behind the front desk. She informed me that it used to be a tanning room but that they converted into a stylist's space. It is a comfy little room and I loved the privacy and not having to worry about 20 other women listening to our conversation. I told Denise about my past hair problems and explained that I wanted a trim with a little bit of texture. It sounds like an easy request, but it has been botched by many stylists in the past.... She gave me a great shampoo and head massage, and then went to work cutting. She gave my hair the attention it needed, while carrying on a great conversation about her personal life. She added a ton of texture up front which is exactly what I needed. She then dried it and meticulously straightened it and made it look sleek, healthy and gorgeous. All in all, this is hands down the best haircut and style I have ever received. Ever. She has a 50% discount for first time clients and knocks off 10% for every new client you refer (which I will definitely be doing since she is AMAZING). I decided to forgo highlights this time around in order to nurse my hair back to health but am excited to see her talents in the color department. Also, not that I used any of her other services, but she also does wedding hair and make up, extensions, skin care etc. Denise is definitely my best find since moving to Scottsdale and if you need someone who listens to your hair and beauty needs, Denise is your girl!
