| - I'll start with the positives. Really knowledgable staff, and extremely yummy shakes! For something so healthy, it tasted like something that I should be avoiding at all costs for fear of my workout being for nothing! The place looked clean, and it gave me a vibe of a coffee-shop/workout store mix.
The reason why they lost two stars, and why I probably won't be back again, is their pricing. I'm not interested in the tea or aloe water, it just simply isn't to my tastes, so I was rather annoyed when I told the girl that and she said it would be $8 regardless. I got the water, which of course, I didn't like. This is poor business practice. I understand their 'medical' reasoning behind it, but I don't want two drinks for $8. I would pay $6.50 for their smoothies, easily. While $8 is a great value for those two drinks, that should be a special instead of the norm. I just wanted the smoothie...not a tea, water, or yoga class. If I want those things, I'll happily pay extra. Until I can get just a smoothie (for less than $8, because that's outrageous) I will make my own shakes or go to One Stop Nutrition.
UPDATE: I'm changing my review to five stars. The owner messaged me, and let me know that their smoothies were $6. My co-worker had also been charged $8 for just a smoothie. They offered me and my co-worker 5 free smoothies each, which was very nice of them. I'll definitely be back now. I'm glad that the owner values customer feedback, and is willing to make things right. Its a great smoothie place, and for $6 is absolutely worth it.
