  • I shave my head for a charity event every fall so I had very short virgin hair. I always dye it platinum blond when it grows out a little. I paid $35 for a living social voucher and Ulla charged me $16 more which I don't understand bc it's never happened before. After 4 hours, my hair was orange. Ulla kept having my stylist try different things but when they couldn't fix it, just told me I must've had color on it already ( I didn't) and that it was impossible to get my hair platinum- even though she had said she could before. She insinuated I was lying about being platinum before and when it became apparent my hair was ruined, she made herself scarce and left the poor stylist to try to deal with it. The stylist found another instructor to come over who gave me the most insincere, monotone, eye rolly "apology" ever, charged me the extra money, and got me out the door. I paid FIFTY dollars to have my hair absolutely ruined over the course of 4 hours and got told it was my fault. I wouldn't be so upset if it had been cheap but with all of Ulla's surprise up charging, it ends up being as much as a real salon where they know what they're doing. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
