  • I have been with their studio for maybe 5 years. They have moved the studio to Bathurst and it is called "Yoga Heritage" now. They don't heat up the room anymore than warm temperature. Before I write about the studio, I just want to express first about non scent policy. Non scent policy to me is very important. You are in a small heated room(not hot anymore but still warm) and if someone has strong scent, people feel sick after a while. My work environment is completely scent free. Even strong scented shampoo or deodorant can make people feel sick and give them a headache. It gives me a headache. It is to think for others. They are very environmental teachers. Everything they do and choose is kind to the earth and natural. It is explained in the website and it is people's responsibility to read it and respect their policy if you decide to come. I love this studio because of teachers attitude towards Yoga practice. I do not agree with any of the review that says they criticize you etc. They are really really warm people and great teachers. And people who come to the studio are very nice and kind people because of them. They are very serious about yoga practice and discipline because they care. They know the benefit. You really learn from both Sasha and Aranka. Aranka is always so much fun and she tries to make us understand how our body works and what they need, when to push, when to stop etc...which is for me very important because I want to be practicing for a long time. When Sasha leads the silent class, just the way he practices is art itself. The rhythm, the body line, breath....it is so beautiful. Sure, they don't have a nice shiny shower, sure, they don't have good looking receptionist, but they are real yogis. If you want to learn and be healthy for rest of your life, come to this studio! Take a look at the web site yogaheritage.com. You will not regret it! I promise!! I have never thought I would continue doing yoga for such a long time knowing my personality... But because of both Sasha and Aranka, I am in love with it and it's been already 5years! You two are the best!
