  • So I am still in search of a better grilled salmon salad, and yes, still searching. Nolen Kitchen is quite lovely. I like the layout and the patio is great. I came in on a Sunday after some shopping to grab a late brunch/lunch. I sat at the bar and was greeted with a smile. I went over the menu and was somewhat disappointed - the salad selections were no at all grand - however you can pick one and pick a protein. The bartender mentioned I would only need a half salad since the full serving would feed two. Thanks for the tip. Moved on to the wine. Nice selection and they offer half glasses! Score! When eating my salad I usually only need 1 and a half.. 2 glasses is a bit much - so this was great! The salad came and the salmon was lovely. The salad and the sampling of dressing wasn't all that grand, the salmon was quite lovely. So all in all, would I return, YES. Maybe their salad will change up a bit as summer us upon us. Or maybe I will stop in for their incredible happy hour specials after work. Nice spot! Great staff!
