I've been trying to come up with words for a while to describe this place and it's food, but I always end up erasing and starting over. Why? Because this place is so good. Every pasty I've had has always come out hot with a brown flaky crust on the outside and perfectly melded and flavors and ingredients on the inside. My favorite in particular is definitely the bangers and mash; the sausage is packed with great flavors and the mash is always creamy and thick. It's never over seasoned and the red wine gravy compliments it really well. The selection of beers is pretty wide and anyone who likes beer at all can find something they'll love. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menus and every time they've suggested something it has been wonderful. The only department they're lacking in is deserts; they're a bit of a let down and much too heavy to compliment the rest of their menu.
