  • If I could rate a zero, I would. We hired Mackie Jean Photography for newborn pictures. We have had nothing but problems. Amanda (the owner) called and cancelled on us AFTER she was already suppose to be at our house. We had our family ready for pictures, my husband took 1/2 day off from work, and were left hanging. When we rescheduled with her (giving her another chance), she promised that she'd make it up to us. However, she arrived over an hour late!! Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of our problems. Per HER contract, we were to receive an electronic link to our pictures "within 4 weeks (maybe sooner)." Oh how we were mislead. After MANY e-mails to her asking when we could expect ANYTHING (without a response), here we are 11 weeks later with no pictures or link to our gallery. We payed up front and are now out $350 and cannot redo our daughter's pictures now that she's 3 months old. We were not able to send out newborn announcements, fill all of the frames in her room, or make Mother's Day or Father's Day gifts we were planning on making using the pictures. If you're a fan of reliable, timely service and prompt responses to reasonable inquiries DO NOT use her.
