The Las Vegas Strip is known for fancy gourmet sushi places with flashing lights and loud music. We were in the mood for a quiet, traditional Japanese meal. We found that at Nozomi. It is a small unassuming place located in an obscure strip mall. I had the shrimp and vegetable tempura, which was light, crispy, and flavorful. Nothing spectacular, just simple and satisfying. The sushi was also good. Sometimes I am in an adventurous mood, somtimes not. Nozomi is great for those times when you want to stick with the familiar.
