I've always wondered why anyone would sit down to write a review, and who could possibly have time to do so. Once I brought my car to this Firestone, I now understand how an experience can be frustrating enough for someone to sit down and take the time write a review.
My car's AC would intermittently not blow out of the vents. I spent $170 towards remedying this issue, only to have it not work. Not only did it not work, but after they completed these services Firestone admitted that the services they performed on my car would have never remedied the issue (AC not blowing at all vs. cold AC). I admittedly should have done more research, however I had trusted that the team members at Firestone would not "pull one over" on me as our interactions had been so pleasant.
I took my car elsewhere (I'll be writing a good review for them) and they fixed it within 10 minutes. The issue was so minor they didn't charge me. Piece of advice: go to auto shops that have good reviews or have had good things said about them per Mark Salem.
The only redeeming part of this experience is that they did refund the $170. Although they did refund me, the amount of time spent in their shop, on the phone, and doing research to prove what they did to my car was completely unnecessary has solidified my decision to never bring my car here and to tell anyone and everyone I know to steer clear of this Firestone.
