| - As someone who works in retail, I know all about what it means to offer good customer service and act professionally in all situations, no matter how difficult the customer's behaving. After my nightmarish experience here, I think it would benefit the workers here a great deal if they were to undergo a complete attitude makeover and learn to treat their nicest, most loyal customers here witah a little something called DECENCY.
I purchased some hair extensions here, unknowing to their company policy which doesn't allow for returns under any circumstances. Not even an entire 24 hours later, I decide against them and called their store to ask if a refund would be possible. When I tried explaining my case to the manager, he was beyond rude! Throughout the whole conversation, he was extremely sarcastic, condescending and unprofessional. He laughed at me when I tried to explain that I had never been informed of their no return policy and was a complete jerk towards me. I did not appreciate his obnoxious attitude, and was fuming over the fact that I had lost over $130 at this place. As soon as I could, I called their customer service hotline and reported this terrible incident and made sure that the woman I spoke to sent it to the district manager. I hope this guy got the punishment he deserved.
It still shocks me to this day how such an insolent man like this guy could possibly have become the manager of this joint. Had he behaved like this under the company which I work for, he would've been fired immediately. From that experience on, I have never shopped at Sally's since then, and they have lost a loyal customer in me forever. I hope they enjoy those $100+ because that's the last cent they'll ever take out of me.
And if the guy who treated me like this is reading, I offer you one last, valuable piece of advice to keep in mind going forward: BE NICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. THEY'RE THE ONLY REASON YOU HAVE A JOB.
