Small mom-and-pop-ish Taiwanese restaurant tucked in the middle of that Chinatown plaza with the elaborate archway.
I ordered the spicy beef noodle with tendons and the broth was full of flavor; it was an MSG fuckfest in my mouth. Tendons were thoroughly cooked and easily sinkable through my teeth. Because of that I told myself I would be a regular from now on since I wasn't thoroughly satisfied with Liang's Kitchen's light broth.
However the service was not prompt and it wasn't like I was expecting it in a no-frills, run-by-FOBs type of establishment.
Forward to payment time and our server was dissatisfied with the tip I gave her and she had the nerve to ask for more and said if I didn't have enough on my card, "you can also give me cash tip."
I was like WTF 'cause I've never heard that in my life and she should be lucky she got anything despite the dismal service.
The soup was delicious but I'm not returning! Girl BYE!
