| - Rather formulaic cuisine here, the service was very good, but too many dishes had almost the same sauce, that sweet, tomatoey chipotle glaze. The most memorable dish was the lobster taco appetizer, just small enough for me to eat it in one big bite. The explosion of flavor was great, everything in balance.
The other apps were the tiger shrimp, which was nice but a bit sweet. Tuna nachos with sweet hot sauce again. You get the feeling here that it's all about the hot and sweet on every single dish. Entree was the spice rubbed pork tenderloin with yeah, sweet, sweet, sweet everything. Bourbon in the sauce, sweet potato, pecan butter (sweet) and ancho chilis.
The meal just got monotonous. Nothing wrong with it but only the lobster tacos were impressive. Oh and the margaritas were more sweet than sour too.
