  • I was referred to Parkway by several of my dog rescue friends and they did not disappoint. I have three pit bull type dogs, varying 40, 50, and 60lbs and two of them don't get along. Because of the many referrals I received for this place, I felt comfortable that they could handle them just fine. And they did! The establishment itself was clean and I loved the bright colored walls. It is much larger than it looks from the exterior. I received updates while I was gone and was able to check out photos of my pups on their FB page. My pups had their usual upbeat personalities when I went to pick them up so I know they had a good time and weren't stressed out. The staff was pleasant and even helped me load my dogs into my car. There are ample fenced in areas for them to get some fresh air during their stay and I wasn't worried one bit about my dog reactive gal. I will definitely use their kennel again next time I go out of town. And mind you -- I live near Monroeville so this was quite a trek for me to take my kids there, but, when you find a quality place, you do those kinds of things.
