  • This was by far my worst encounter with discount tire co. ! On November 21st I placed a call to this branch at 11am and asked for specific set of tires. I was assured that the tires were in town and they could have them delivered to the branch by 3pm the same day. I had them go ahead and order them. I called again at 1pm to ensure this was the case. At this time I was told that the tires would have to come in from southern California and they would not be there until the following day by 11am. So i decided to go ahead and drop off my car on the 21st with the understanding that the tires would be installed by 1pm on the 22nd as I had to go out of town directly after the car would be picked up. The morning of the 22nd I called at 11 am to confirm the delivery and on time schedule for install. I was informed they had not yet received there shipment. I called again at 1..... still no shipment. At this point I was a bit irritated to say the least. I called once again at 315pm with the intent of picking the car up and grabbing a rental car. This time I was told the truck had just arrived and the tires would be installed within 45 minutes. I showed up at the branch at 415pm. The car was sitting in the same spot from the day before with the old tires. I explaind the situation to the employee at the counter. He understood my frustration and offered to have the tires out on imideatly. I turned down his offer and now I'm in line to get a rental car. I do understand that shipping is out of the hands of the branch. I just do not appreciate the run around and waste of time I was caused! This could have been done elsewhere in a fraction of the time.
