  • Years ago I routinely went to Bangkok Balcony for lunch. Food was delicious and well priced. Unfortunately, If my meal today is any indicator, Bangkok Balcony has gone to the dogs. My luncheon special of noodles and pork with egg and some other things was more than disappointing. From 1 to 10 (ten being the hottest) I asked for 7. Now that's pretty hot, right? Well, the meal not only wasn't hot, it had no taste. The egg roll appetizer had been CRISPED to death. It too had no flavor. The soup was passable; it tasted just like Swanson's canned chicken broth. (I sent my meal back and we were not charged.) I hate to see a formerly nice restaurant decline like this. Hopefully the chef will right the situation and return Bangkok Balcony to its former glory.
